Evan Rumney PE
Project Manager
As Project Manager at Redland, Evan oversees civil engineering projects from entitlement through construction, leading a team and coordinating with clients, municipalities, and fellow practice areas.
Evan joined Redland in 2013 after earning his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. Over the years, he has built his career at the firm, working on master-planned communities like Barefoot Lakes and Prairie Point, high-profile neighborhoods like Midtown, and projects with unique challenges from brownfield redevelopment to foundation design on difficult bedrock.
Known for his reliability and drive to go the extra mile, he mentors new engineers, fosters open communication, and advances internal standards and innovations — from CAD templates to emerging AI tools — while contributing to business planning and company growth. A member of the Home Builders Association, he also contributes to the industry through the HBA of Metro Denver Young Leaders Council, serving as Vice Chair in 2025 and Chair in 2026.
Evan brings the same drive and enthusiasm to his life away from work. A lifelong hockey player, he competes in adult leagues and cheers on the Colorado Avalanche. He gets outdoors as often as possible with his two daughters for mountain biking, hunting, and wakeboarding, whether in Colorado or at the lake with family in Texas. He’s also chased bigger thrills through MMA, motorcycles, and snowmobiles, with bull riding still on the bucket list.
