Midtown is an award-winning, 182-acre master-planned neighborhood in Adams County, located just a few miles from downtown Denver. Developed as Brookfield Residential’s first mixed use infill community in the United States, it is also Adams County’s first urban infill master-planned development.

Built on a former aircraft manufacturing site, Midtown has grown into a neighborhood that brings together a blend of compact, energy-efficient homes, a walkable retail center, a school, office buildings, and thoughtfully integrated community spaces. Residents enjoy parks and playgrounds, modern amenities, a lively urban street scene, and easy walking and biking along the nearby Clear Creek Regional Trail. Convenient access to major highways and transit connects Midtown to downtown Denver, Boulder, and the surrounding region.

Redland was involved from the start and remained engaged through entitlement, planning, and construction. Their experience with local processes and long-standing partnerships helped move the project through a complex approval environment. Across the life of the project, Redland integrated Civil Engineering, Land Planning, and Landscape Architecture services to coordinate approvals, infrastructure, and open space design, incorporating sustainable Low Impact Design strategies. This decades-long, multi-disciplinary involvement helped ensure continuity from start to finish, successfully delivering a standout urban community in Colorado.
