Dillon Pointe Construction Continues, as Redland Conducts Fall Site Visit

Oct 18, 2023 , , , , , , , , ,

Earlier this month, Redland associates took to Broomfield to conduct the annual Fall Site Visit. The site visit is a company-wide event that takes place on location of either an active or completed project. This visit took place in the upcoming Dillon Pointe neighborhood, a project that has been with Redland since 2018.

Dillon Pointe is special as it utilizes our entitlements, land planning, civil engineering, and landscape architecture services. A project such as this one allows for a perfect cross educational platform. When arriving on site, associates are split in to groups, and Project Managers spread out to different stations on the site. Groups travel to stations where they observe different aspects of the project. Construction Management focused on earthwork, erosion control, and sequencing. Land planning shared the overall vision, different iterations that Dillon Pointe has gone through, and the challenges it faced when finalizing the site plan. Our civil engineering service line highlighted single-family site grading, open space, and drainage when working with townhomes. Finally, our landscape architecture team shared preservation tactics for existing mature trees and the future plans for Dillon Pointe’s neighborhood parks, open space, and trails.

Redland has enjoyed working with Brightland homes to bring such a unique and exciting neighborhood to fruition. Construction is ongoing and you can visit Dillon Pointe – Redland for more updates on the project as it progresses.
