Redland Names Four New Associate Principal Owners

Littleton, Colo. — Redland, a Colorado-based land planning, civil engineering, landscape architect and construction management firm with projects throughout the Western United States, recently named four employees as associate principals. Brian Hart, Mark Cevaal, Travis Frazier and Susan Wade were promoted based on their expertise, experience and potential to drive growth in new markets.

“This team brings a breadth and depth of service specialties, as well as unique perspectives, that offer Redland an opportunity to grow our client base and service offerings throughout the United States, and beyond,” said Chris Pangburn, president, Redland. “Brian, Mark, Travis and Susan are exceptionally strong contributors and mentors to the Redland team, and many of our long-term clients request our team’s expertise for their projects. We’re fortunate to have them as associate principal owners.”

Hart’s 25 years of project management experience in civil engineering development includes work with residential, commercial and municipal clients. Hart has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University. He is licensed as a professional engineer (PE) in Colorado.

Cevaal has more than three decades of experience in the land development industry, including seven years in his current role as senior project manager at Redland. His career experience includes land development projects for retail, mixed-use, multi-family residential, healthcare, institutional, office and industrial sectors. Cevaal has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He is a licensed as a professional engineer (PE) in Colorado.

“Helping clients realize the potential of their land is what I enjoy most about my career,” said Cevaal. “There are so many creative solutions related to sitework on each project and the opportunities and challenges are unique for each project. It is exciting to find these solutions and help the project be successful.”

Frazier, with nearly 15 years of civil and design engineering experience and ten years tenure at Redland, is a senior project manager. His career background includes roadway design, grading, storm sewer, drainage design and wet utilities for commercial and residential projects. Frazier graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed as a professional engineer (PE) in Colorado.

“Working with Redland colleagues and clients is an honor for me,” stated Frazier. “I learn from them and enjoy sharing my diverse perspective for their most challenging conditions.”

Wade, a senior planner and landscape architect at Redland with over three decades of experience, has a resume that includes community design, land planning and landscape architecture on a local and global scale for residential, mixed-use communities, resort and commercial projects. She holds a bachelor’s degree of Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University, and is a certified Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) in Colorado. Wade is active with Urban Land Institute (ULI) as a co-chair of the local Community Development Council and a committee member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI).  She also participates in the mentioning program with the Professional Women in Building (PWB) as part of the Home Builders Association (HBA).

“Each project and each site has its own unique set of opportunities and challenges,” said Wade. “I enjoy working together with our clients to compose the best outcome of those opportunities and challenges. I have learned so much working on a wide variety of community, resort and international projects, but I feel my greatest achievements have come from creating unique and special places for our everyday lives.”
