Saddle Rock Emergency Room is a 9,300 square foot free-standing emergency department for HCA HealthONE. The building is phase 1 of a 9.5 acre site which will include a future Medical Office Building. With the inclusion of a helipad on the site, analysis of flight approach and departure corridors was required.
The drainage system presented even greater challenges with a forty-foot embankment running along the site’s west side and feeding into the Saddle Rock Ranches Gulch and Regional Detention Pond. Redland’s solution called for rerouting off-site drainage through the site from the Dry Creek and Gartrell Roads intersection.
