Susan Wade PLA
Sr. Project Manager
As Senior Project Manager at Redland, Susan leads the creative practice area while mentoring the next generation of planners and landscape architects.
Susan’s approach reimagines how communities are developed, designing neighborhoods from the inside out while creating thoughtfully planned journeys through parks, open spaces, and gathering places.
Recognized for her strategic problem-solving approach, Susan looks at challenges from different perspectives to find innovative solutions that transform utilitarian elements into beautiful, livable spaces, literally turning site plans upside down to discover new possibilities.
A licensed landscape architect with a degree from Colorado State University, Susan’s expertise in large-scale planning and community design has shaped developments across Colorado for over 30 years. She trusts her instincts while taking time to understand the complete picture, a mindset she cultivates in others. Whether finding design inspiration in Parisian courtyards or local neighborhood patterns, she continually explores ways to improve how people live and move through spaces.
Susan is an avid snow skier who loves to travel. At home, she enjoys taking on renovation projects alongside her retired husband. With two married sons, they take pride in their family and cherish the time they spend together.
