Mountain View West Annexation and Planned Development Approval

Mountain View West recently received Annexation and Planned Development Zoning approval and is ready to move into the next phase of design.  The upcoming residential community in Brighton, Colorado, is situated immediately south of Baseline Road, straddling S. 27th Avenue. Now zoned for single-family detached and attached residential uses, this project allows for up to 435 new homes. With a planned City Park bordering the site and a combination of open space, trails, and neighborhood parks, Mountain View will quickly become the next desirable Colorado community.

Redland provided Civil Engineering and Land Planning services to assist Coronado West with design and entitlements, including conceptual site planning.  Detailed coordination between Redland’s services and City of Brighton staff enabled the execution of a thoughtful, strategic design that addresses the site’s constraints and unique opportunities. The result is a future community that balances the city’s desire for density and price attainability, with the site’s locational context at the intersection of the City of Brighton and the more rural character of development to the north in Weld County.

With City of Brighton Annexation and Zoning approval secured, Redland will continue to advance Mountain View West through the Subdivision Plan, Final Plat, and Construction Documents process, with the goal of breaking ground as early as 2028.
