Solaire

Solaire is an energy-friendly apartment community with a strong emphasis on sustainability, located in Brighton, Colorado. The 16-acre project holds 252 units and promotes multiple floor plans to accommodate individuals and families of all sizes. Within minutes of Downtown Brighton and surrounded by nature, Solaire has something for everybody.

Solaire highlights alternative energy systems including geothermal, wind turbine, and solar. The geothermal system is one of the largest residential systems operating in the western United States, providing climate control to each apartment building, recreation center, the community pool, and the outdoor pool.

Redland provided Civil Engineering services for Solaire, and a highlight was the implementation of Low Impact Development (LID) practices. Drought tolerant landscaping and low-flow plumbing fixtures were designed to significantly decrease the community’s water consumption.
