Prominence is a 1,290-acre master-planned community located in Elbert County, Colorado, approximately 15 miles east of the Town of Parker and 8 miles north of the Town of Kiowa, along Kiowa–Bennett Road and north of County Road 166.

Designed as a conservation-minded development, Prominence dedicates approximately 50% of the site to open space, including parks, trails, and preserved natural areas. The community integrates a diverse mix of residential neighborhoods, neighborhood commercial and retail uses, and industrial development, while maintaining hundreds of acres of protected open space. Land has also been reserved for a potential future school site.

The development will incorporate innovative water conservation strategies, including a non-potable water system to support sustainable growth. At full buildout, Prominence is planned to include up to 2,450 residential units, featuring a variety of housing types such as single-family detached and attached homes, townhomes, and multifamily residences. The plan also includes approximately 48 acres of commercial and retail space, 49 acres of industrial land, and 15 acres designated for a potential school.

Craft Companies have assembled a highly experienced development team, including Redland, Aztec Consulting Brownstein, Hyatt Farber and Scheck, MSK Consulting, and LCS Transportation. Redland is providing comprehensive services for the project, including Land Planning, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and Construction Management.

Redland began the design of Prominence in late 2023, with the rezoning to Planned Unit Development (PUD) and the Preliminary Plat approved by Elbert County in February 2025.
