Prairie Center is a 2,000-acre master-planned community located along one of Brighton’s most dynamic and rapidly growing corridors.
Designed as both a place to live and a regional hub, it brings together 4,500 single and multi-family homes, schools, miles of trails, and nearly 200 acres of open space alongside a thriving 400-acre retail district. Anchored by national retailers like Target, Home Depot, and Kohl’s, Prairie Center Shopping Center has become a go-to place for shopping, dining, and daily life. With the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge and Barr Lake State Park nearby, outdoor activities are never far away, and a direct trail connects residents to historic downtown Brighton. Quick access to major highways keeps Denver and the Front Range within easy reach.
Every Redland service line has contributed to the success of Prairie Center. In the project’s earliest stages, the team led Land Planning and entitlements across all planned villages, while also managing bidding services and Metropolitan District engineering to establish core infrastructure and utilities. As the community has built out, Redland has continued to provide Civil Engineering and Construction Management for ongoing residential villages, with Landscape Architecture shaping parks, trails, and open space. Working closely with development partners, Redland helped guide Prairie Center’s growth in a way that delivers immediate value while building a foundation for the city’s future.
