Gotham Greens is a climate-controlled hydroponic greenhouse located on a 15-acre site in Windsor, Colorado. As one of the company’s largest and most productive facilities, it allows the New York–based grower to supply fresh produce to grocery and food service customers throughout the Mountain West region.
The development includes a 118,000-square-foot greenhouse and a 20,000-square-foot support building with offices and loading. Site planning accommodates parking, circulation, and loading access, with space reserved for future expansion that could significantly increase greenhouse capacity over time. Located within Great Western Industrial Park, a well-established logistics hub, the site benefits from regional road and rail connectivity.
As part of Redland’s Civil Engineering work on projects within Great Western Industrial Park, the team designed site utilities and access for the Gotham Greens parcel, including roadway improvements along Weld County Road 23 and coordination related to a nearby railroad crossing and the historic Whitney Ditch. Landscape Architecture services addressed the greenhouse’s operational sensitivities through careful plant selection and placement, avoiding materials that could attract pests or interfere with the controlled growing environment. Together, these efforts supported a highly specialized industrial facility, positioned for long-term operations and future expansion.
