The opening of Sterling Ranch heralds a new chapter for Douglas County, Colorado. Development of this anticipated, master-planned community would bring much needed water distribution, wastewater treatment, and roadway improvements to the region.
Sterling Ranch will have a state-of-the-art approach to water supply and management. Designed to be Colorado’s most water-efficient community, Sterling Ranch will harvest rainwater and utilize cutting-edge water conservation techniques to ensure a renewable water source that is both reliable and less expensive to the homeowner.
The 3400 acre, $4.3 billion project will provide more than 12,000 new homes planned within nine distinct walkable villages with abundant open space. Each village will have a unique character with nearby elementary schools and a Town Center with coffee shops, dining, working, and shopping.
