Ken Caryl Ranch is a long-established residential community located along a scenic foothills valley southwest of Denver. Known for its extensive trail system, neighborhood amenities, and highly regarded schools, it offers a self-contained experience built around a mountain-suburban lifestyle.
The Ken Caryl Ranch North Plains project builds out the final three undeveloped parcels just east of C-470, improving surrounding infrastructure and adding a diverse mix of single- and multi-family homes across 143 acres with a neighborhood park, a clubhouse, pickleball courts, and outdoor spaces designed to fit naturally into the existing neighborhood.
Redland worked with North American Development Group to plan and deliver Filings 1 and 2 through a collaborative effort that brought together Redland’s Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Construction Management teams. Two of the parcels were designed together as a single system, allowing excess material from one site to be used as fill on the other, avoiding unnecessary off-site hauling and added costs. Land plans and infrastructure responded to steep grades, drainage patterns, existing utilities, and subsurface conditions, shaping grading strategies and building placement. Parks and trails were designed in coordination with the Ken Caryl Ranch Metro District and informed by neighborhood input, aligning open spaces with long-term maintenance and community use. Through construction, Redland provided on-site oversight and contractor coordination, guiding land development and infrastructure improvements that extend the community and enhance Ken Caryl Ranch’s reputation as a sought-after place to live in Colorado.
