Midtown Filing 6 and Filing 9 Go Vertical

Jan 30, 2019

More new homes are coming to the Midtown community in Denver, as home construction recently began on Filing 6 and Filing 9.

The build-out of Filing 6 and Filing 9 will add 53 lots and 56 lots respectively to Midtown, and will include products from Brookfield Residential and David Weekely Homes.  More than 11 acres of additional park and open space were dedicated with Filing 6, as well.

Located along North Pecos Street and West 68th Avenue, Midtown occupies 182 acres formerly home to a defunct aerospace manufacturing facility.  The land was purchased by Brookfield Residential and represents their first mixed-use infill community in Colorado and one of Adams County’s first urban infill master plan.  When complete, Midtown will have approximately 1,200 homes with additional commercial space and park/open space.  Notably, this project utilizes multi-modal transportation connections and integrates into the surrounding Adams County trail system.

Redland has been proud, as the provider of civil engineering and entitlement services, to see this project grow.
