The Homebuilders Association of Metro Denver (HBA) hosts a variety of councils, one of which focuses on connecting and developing Young Leaders. The Young Leaders Council (YLC) mission is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and supporting young leaders within the home building industry. As of 2026, Redland’s very own Associate Principal, Evan Rumney, has become Chair of the YLC.
For 10 years the YLC has served as an industry leader in hosting events, from mentoring to friendly competitions, with the goal of connecting their expansive network of professionals. Evan will look to keep that tradition growing as the Chair, as well as continuing the YLC’s community involvement.
“I am proud to be the Chair of the Young Leaders Council. It is exciting to be apart of a group that champions career growth, community engagement, professional development, and real industry connections for young leaders in the homebuilding industry.” – Evan Rumney

With an active 2026 calendar underway, Redland has already joined the fun – The YLC hosted a trivia night and several associates took part. This is just one of the many events that Redland associates and many others look forward to. The next YLC event will be part of their Eats and Inspiration Series with the March 4th date focusing on sustainability in development. Evan and additional Redland associates will be in attendance, so feel free to say hello. If you would like to learn more about HBA & YLC you can find their information page here.
