Access 25 Logistics Park is a 300-acre master-planned industrial park in Mead, Colorado, located along I-25 with direct access to rail networks. Designed for large-scale logistics and industrial users, the park integrates truck and rail infrastructure to support national distribution and long-term growth across northern Colorado.
The park’s first major development is a 386,000-square-foot bulk flatbed distribution center for Home Depot on a 40-acre parcel, directly connected to the Great Western Railway. This integrated real estate and transportation approach enhances freight efficiency and reduces reliance on truck-only distribution. The facility was recognized by NAIOP as Industrial Development of the Year in 2022 for its design, operational performance, and innovative rail solution.
Redland served as lead consultant for the entitlement process, providing Land Planning, Civil Engineering, and Landscape Architecture services from the project’s earliest stages. The team led annexation of nearly 300 acres into the Town of Mead, rezoned the site for industrial use, and prepared preliminary plats, site plans, and construction documents to support an accelerated delivery schedule. Infrastructure improvements included upgrades to Weld County Road 36 and the I-25 frontage road, new traffic signals, water system coordination with Little Thompson Water District, relocation of the historic McKay Irrigation Ditch, and new rail spurs — one of which crosses pipeline easements and extends directly into the Home Depot for on-site rail offloading. Through detailed planning and strong coordination, Redland delivered the Home Depot facility from annexation to operation in just over two years, supporting a critical transition for the tenant and positioning Access 25 for continued phased development.
