Wade LePlatt
Director of Construction Management
From riding in gravel trucks as a boy in Pueblo to directing construction projects across Colorado, Wade has never strayed far from his first love: watching things get built.
That early experience put Wade on a path through heavy highway construction and civil engineering, ultimately leading him back to land development construction as Director of Construction Management at Redland, where he leads an integrated design-bid-build model that sets projects up for success from day one.
Known for his broad expertise and collaborative approach, he’s a trusted connector across practice areas who keeps complex projects moving forward. With a “never give up” attitude, he mentors his team to see challenges as opportunities.
A licensed professional engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University Pueblo, Wade joined Redland in 2011 and spent eight years building his engineering expertise before launching what would become the company’s Construction Management practice area. Named to the leadership team in 2025, he has grown this practice into an innovative service line that sets Redland apart in private development.
At home, Wade is husband to his high school sweetheart and father to two young boys. True to his rural Colorado roots, he keeps property in Trinidad where they raise cattle and stay connected to the land. His commitment to rural life goes beyond the ranch — Wade serves on the Redland Foundation Board, leading the annual Cowboy After Hours event helping raise funds for Douglas County 4-H youth. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and sharing his love of the outdoors with his family.
